    unique decor
    no shower option

The historic charm of the Iron Horse Hotel is a standout, with unique vintage decor that truly encapsulates the spirit of the area.

The lack of a shower option in our room made it inconvenient, especially for those of us who prefer a quick shower over a bath.

    good breakfast
    friendly staff
    historic building

Breakfast was good and staff was very nice! Our room was large and we could take our dog out to the patio. It was quiet and relaxing, and I loved sipping coffee outside our window. The historic building is beautiful, and we met some friendly cats too. 😊

    charming atmosphere
    inadequate amenities

Charming historic vibe but be prepared for train noise. No shower options and inadequate amenities for my needs. Enjoyed the delightful breakfast and relaxing parlor! 😊

    bathtub experience
    garden view
    train noise

Unique clawfoot bathtubs offer a vintage experience. The garden view adds a touch of nature to the stay.

The train noise is a constant companion, with multiple whistles throughout the night. Clawfoot tubs lack shower options, making it tricky for those who prefer showers. Limited amenities like the absence of a fridge and poor A/C control made for an uncomfortable night. Be prepared for minimal towel hanging space and tiny soap provided for baths or showers.

    historic atmosphere
    friendly staff
    lack of cleaning
    eerie environment
    no night manager

The charming, historic atmosphere stands out, complete with quirky furnishings and ample spots to unwind, like the roof terrace and garden. Breakfast included some delightful vegetarian dishes, and the friendly staff made us feel at home. However, being one of only two occupied rooms felt a bit eerie at times, especially with no night manager around, and the lack of regular cleaning during our stay was noticeable.
